Madeline's Steakhouse & Grill is a very family oriented restaurant with fantastic food, great atmosphere, and excellent service.  We use the freshest and the best ingredients to make all of our entrees from scratch, including the Certified Angus Beef.  Whether it's lunch, dinner, and a special event, we're sure to have tender, juicy steaks, mouthwatering chicken, fresh pasta, and tasty sandwiches to satisfy your appetite.

How Madeline's came to be

My wife and I have been very blessed with four wonderful children, three outstanding sons and one very special daughter. Our baby girl was diagnosed at the age of three with a severe seizure disorder that has brought many challenges and special needs to our lives.  The doctors did not paint a positive picture of her future. We were told that her condition would continue to worsen and she would probably not live past her teens. Instead she has shown improvement, and continues to exceed all expectations.  Each day she brings lots of smiles and laughter to our home. We believe that her progress is the result of hard work, love and a belief in our ability to move on and overcome.

We chose to name our Restaurant after Madeline for a couple of reasons. First we want to honor her tremendous efforts, determination and love that she brings to our lives. Secondly, we want to have a charity fund dedicated in her honor for after school sports programs for special needs children.  When not in school, Madeline loves coming to the restaurant. In her mind she is a very proud owner, she calls it “my restaurant”.  We as a family, believe that our restaurant makes Madeline's life better and really lifts her spirits

After a combined 30 years of experience working in the restaurant business in Seattle, Southern California, Colorado Springs, and Utah we realized that this is what we love and decided to go into business for ourselves.  We cashed out our 401k, sold our home, and borrow money from family and on a shoestring budget put together this wonderful restaurant.  Our restaurant has now become a passionate work in progress and we are engaged in a continuous improvement process to make our restaurant better.  The décor will change often as we continue to add to the ambiance.  To tell the truth, we would have loved to have all the finishing touches done from the beginning, but we understand that it will all come in time and we will appreciate it more.  Our strong family bond and our desire to fulfill a dream of opening our restaurant in a wonderful community brought us to open Madeline’s here inSouth Jordan. We feel that this community is wonderful and full of supportive people that will make all of this come together.  The menu that we have put together is drawn from family recipes and we strive to make everything scratch. We pride ourselves in fresh quality food at an affordable price.  Our experience, dedication and the support of our family will hopefully make this a destination restaurant for years to come.
